The Experience

I didn’t expect to start my day in Rotorua standing quietly by a smooth black stone, but that’s where our Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa journey began. Our guide greeted us with a gentle nod—she said the mauri stone holds the energy of the land. I’m not sure if it was the hush of everyone else or just the faint scent of eucalyptus in the air, but I actually felt myself let go a little.
