The route covers roughly 2.5 kilometers through downtown Breda, hitting landmarks most visitors find on their own only by accident. You'll stand in front of the Grote Kerk, the 15th-century church where nine Nassaus were buried; walk past the Waalse Kerk, a Gothic chapel from the early 1400s now used for exhibitions and concerts; and reach Breda Castle, once the ancestral seat of the Nassaus and a center of European power. The Merkxtuin garden and the Grote Markt—where the city's markets have run since 1321—round out the stops. No entrance fees apply during the tour itself; the puzzles and hints are all included in the app.
