The Experience
The trek starts with a private drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, then a climb through villages and forest to Ulleri at 1,960 meters. Day two takes you higher through rhododendron forest toward Moharai danda (2,880 meters), with views of the Annapurna range building as the altitude rises. Day three is the summit push: you leave Ghorepani in the dark to reach Poon Hill by dawn, standing at 3,210 meters to watch the sun hit the snow peaks, then descend to Tadapani for the night. The final day is a steady walk back down to Ulleri and a shared jeep to Nayapul, where a private car returns you to Pokhara.
Lodge stays are arranged each night, so you carry only a day pack. The guide speaks English and handles the route, the pace and the logistics—you walk, eat and rest. Trekking permits and the TIMS card (Trekkers' Information Management System) come with the booking, so there's no paperwork to sort out before you start. The early mornings are built into the itinerary; the altitude gain is steady but not steep, and the forest walking on days one and two is the easier half of the trek before the summit day.

An English-speaking trekking guide is included for the entire four days. They lead the route, manage the pace and handle navigation so you focus on walking and taking in the landscape.
