The experience

You ride a quad bike yourself through Agafay's landscape of arid hills and stone desert, climbing steep tracks that wind through villages and open onto panoramic views. The guide chooses the route based on your riding ability, so the terrain adapts to whether you're a beginner or experienced rider. The circuit covers 45 kilometers over 2 hours and includes a tea break partway through.

Gear is provided: helmet, balaclava, goggles and raincoat, so you show up in closed shoes and comfortable clothes. An air-conditioned vehicle transports you to and from the starting point. Bring sunscreen and warm layers if you're riding in winter. Children under 12 travel as passengers on the bike with an adult. Riders aged 16 and over can drive if a parent signs a waiver beforehand.
