The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Marrakesh hotel and a drive west toward the Agafay Desert, a stony expanse an hour from the city with views of the High Atlas Mountains rising behind it. Once at base camp, you'll get briefed on the itinerary and fitted with a traditional Berber outfit before mounting a camel for a 30-minute ride across the sand. The real adrenaline comes next: two hours on a quad bike, where you'll navigate the desert terrain and reach a vantage point to watch the sunset over the landscape.

Lunch happens poolside in the middle of the desert, with swimming access and views back toward the Atlas range. You'll eat and cool off before the final leg of the day. As evening settles, the group moves to a Berber tent for a traditional meal under the starlit sky, marking the end of the six-hour outing. The quad bikes are new and come with all necessary safety equipment. The air-conditioned vehicle handles transport to and from Marrakesh, and fuel is included in the price.
