After a safety briefing and a helmet check, you ride your own quad through the austere desert terrain outside Marrakech: past palm groves, through Berber villages, across volcanic ground. A guide leads the group and sets the pace, so you're not navigating alone, but you're the one steering and managing the machine. The route takes about three hours total, with the riding broken up by a stop in a village or at a bivouac where you sit down for Moroccan tea and pancakes.

The small-group format keeps numbers low enough that the guide can watch each rider and adjust the route if needed. You get bottled water throughout, and the air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your hotel and brings you back after the ride, so the only thing you arrange is showing up ready to ride.
