The experience

You arrive at the complex on horseback, greeted at the main entrance before moving into the Caidal tents where the meal unfolds. The evening starts with dates, milk and mint tea with Moroccan pastries, then folklore groups parade through the aisles while you settle in. The kitchen sends out couscous with seven vegetables, méchoui (steamed lamb), seasonal fruit and more pastries, all served while live entertainment fills the tent: Dekka Merrakchia drummers, Gnawa and Rwayess troupes, and a belly dancer keep the energy moving through dinner.

Once the meal clears, the outdoor sound and light show takes over. Fantasia riders on horseback perform alongside acrobats and fire eaters under the night sky, the kind of spectacle built around the skill of the performers rather than a narrative arc. The whole evening is paced so the show and the food arrive together, neither one stealing focus from the other. At the end, your driver brings you back to your hotel.
