The experience
The day starts with a panoramic drive along the bay to Perast, where you walk the old town before boarding a boat to Our Lady of the Rocks. The island itself is artificial, built up over centuries from offerings, and holds a small church at its center. After the boat returns and a coffee break in Perast, the drive back to the farm near Kotor takes you through more bay views.
Lunch waits at the farm when you arrive: two seafood dishes cooked fresh, paired with wine from the region. The farm uses the same long-line method that has worked in the Adriatic for generations. Only about 20 shell farms operate in Boka Kotorska Bay, all small family businesses. The mussels and oysters grow in first-class water under controlled conditions. Several photo stops around the bay are built into the route back.
Swimming and diving are available on request if you want to stay in the water longer. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and non-alcoholic drinks travel with you. Service animals are welcome.
