Tulum ruins, Mayan village & cenote tour with pickup
Three stops in one day: ruins, village, and a cenote swim
A guided tour of Tulum's archaeological ruins, a traditional Mayan village in the jungle, and a cenote swim, with hotel pickup and a certified guide in multiple languages. The route moves from the coast inland and back, covering three distinct sites in a single morning. A guide leads the group through each stop; bottled water and snacks are provided throughout.
Step-by-step itinerary
Explore Tulum, Mayan Village, and Cenote
- Visit Tulum archaeological ruins
- Explore Mayan jungle village
- Swim in community cenote
The Experience
Tulum's ruins sit on a cliff above the Caribbean—the only major Mayan site built facing the sea—and the tour starts there. A certified guide walks you through the structures and explains the history of the civilization that built them. From the ruins, the group heads inland into the jungle to a small Mayan village, where you see how the community lives today: their traditions, customs, and daily routines. The final stop is the village's cenote, a natural freshwater pool fed by underground springs, where you swim before heading back.
Hotel pickup is included, and the guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French or German depending on the option you choose. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and bottled water and snacks travel with the group. The whole tour runs four to five hours, so it fits into a morning or early afternoon without consuming the entire day.
