The experience
The day starts before dawn with pickup from your Mexico City hotel and the drive to Globeport, where you'll have coffee while the crew readies the balloon. Once airborne, you spend 30 to 50 minutes drifting over the pyramids and the sprawl of Teotihuacan below, then land for the traditional sparkling wine toast. A van brings you back to Globeport on a brief loop through the city.
After landing, your guide takes you to breakfast: either inside a natural cave or on a terrace that faces the pyramids directly. Both settings are booked in advance so you get the best spot. Next comes a stop at an artisan cooperative where you see exact replicas of pre-Columbian art and learn the history of maguey agave and pulque, the traditional fermented drink, while tasting samples and learning about the natural minerals that shaped the region.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander the archaeological zone at your own pace. A guide is available if you want one, but the time is unscheduled. You decide how long to spend at each temple and which corners of the site to explore. Transport back to your Mexico City hotel is included, wrapping the day into a single seamless booking.
