- Enjoy coffee and balloon inflation
- Fly over Teotihuacan by balloon
- Breakfast in cave or terrace

The experience
The day starts before dawn. A driver picks you up from your Mexico City hotel between 4:50 and 5:00 am and drives you to Teotihuacan. At the balloon port, you watch the envelope inflate over coffee while the crew prepares for flight. Then you're airborne, drifting over the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Calzada de los Muertos: the entire ceremonial center laid out below you. The flight includes a toast with sparkling wine and your flight certificate once you land.
Breakfast follows at one of the region's best restaurants around 8:30 am. You choose between eating inside a natural cave or on a terrace with unobstructed views of the pyramids. After breakfast, a cultural guide takes you to a cooperative where you learn about maguey agave, obsidian, and other materials central to Teotihuacan life, then taste regional drinks including tequila. You'll have an hour to an hour and a half inside the archaeological zone itself, free to walk the Calzada de los Muertos, climb the pyramids, and explore the main temple at your own pace.
The tour wraps with two workshops. First, you make your own chocolate in a cocoa workshop. Then you learn to prepare pulque, a traditional fermented drink, accompanied by Mexican sayings and stories. After that, your driver takes you back to your hotel in Mexico City.
