The experience
The class starts on land with an academic session covering pressure theory, equipment presentation, and underwater communication. You'll learn what each piece of gear does and how to use it before you ever enter the water. This foundation takes the guesswork out of what happens next.
The second stage moves to shallow water, where you practice five core skills: regulator cleaning, mask clearing, regulator retrieval, equalization techniques, and buoyancy control. These exercises build the muscle memory you need to stay calm and in control when you're deeper. An instructor watches every movement and corrects technique on the spot.
Once you've nailed the basics, you make your first ocean dive. The guided dive reaches a maximum depth of 40 feet and runs 45 to 55 minutes, giving you time to settle into the rhythm of breathing underwater and notice what's around you. You're never alone: your instructor stays with you the whole time. Bottled water is provided throughout.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, French and German.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (13 to 17 years); Infant (10 to 12 years). Children under 10 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What do I learn in the shallow-water session before the ocean dive?
You practice five essential skills: regulator cleaning (clearing water from your breathing tube), mask clearing (getting water out of your mask underwater), regulator retrieval (finding and using a backup air source), equalization techniques (managing pressure in your ears as you descend), and buoyancy control (staying level in the water). Each exercise builds confidence for the open-water dive that follows.
How deep does the ocean dive go and how long does it last?
The guided ocean dive reaches a maximum depth of 40 feet and lasts between 45 and 55 minutes. That's enough time to adjust to the underwater environment and actually explore, not just descend and come back up.
How many people dive together with one instructor?
A maximum of two participants per instructor means you get personalized attention and the water doesn't feel crowded. No group of ten, no waiting for someone else to finish a skill. Just you, one other person if there is one, and your guide.
