You arrive at Tierra Sagrada after a round-trip pickup from your hotel and walk into a beach club built right on the ocean. The day is yours to shape: swim in the large oceanfront pool or jacuzzi, order ice-cold beer and tequila from the open bar, or load a plate from the unlimited Mexican buffet whenever hunger hits. The in-house DJ sets the pace, and if you want to move, beach volleyball and football games run throughout the day. A tequila and mezcal tasting happens on-site, or you can join a hands-on cooking class to learn how local dishes come together.
If you're bringing children, the Kids Adventure Park occupies a separate area with a mini zipline, petting zoo, mining company game, musical garden and sand pits: older kids can tackle the climbing net challenge while younger ones play safely nearby. Adults who want to step away from the crowd can book a massage in the cactus-lined desert (extra charge). The six-hour window gives you time to do several things without rushing, or to settle into one spot and let the afternoon move at its own speed.
