Tierra Sagrada is an all-inclusive beach club on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur where you spend a half day swimming, eating from a Mexican buffet, playing beach games or taking a tequila tasting or cooking class — round-trip transport from your hotel is included, and kids have their own adventure park with a mini zipline, petting zoo and climbing net. Winter months bring humpback whales visible from the shore.

The Experience

You arrive at Tierra Sagrada after a round-trip pickup from your hotel and walk into a beach club built right on the ocean. The day is yours to shape: swim in the large oceanfront pool or jacuzzi, order ice-cold beer and tequila from the open bar, or load a plate from the unlimited Mexican buffet whenever hunger hits. The in-house DJ sets the pace, and if you want to move, beach volleyball and football games run throughout the day. A tequila and mezcal tasting happens on-site, or you can join a hands-on cooking class to learn how local dishes come together.

If you're bringing children, the Kids Adventure Park occupies a separate area with a mini zipline, petting zoo, mining company game, musical garden and sand pits — older kids can tackle the climbing net challenge while younger ones play safely nearby. Adults who want to step away from the crowd can book a massage in the cactus-lined desert (extra charge). The six-hour window gives you time to do several things without rushing, or to settle into one spot and let the afternoon move at its own speed.

Winter visitors often see humpback whales from the beach. The club is designed for mixed energy levels — you're never obligated to join an activity, and the pool, food and bar work just as well for someone who wants to sit still and watch the ocean.
