The Experience
Four to five hours means you fit the whole island into a single afternoon without rushing. The guide meets you at your hotel, cruise port or ferry terminal in an air-conditioned vehicle, and from there the day is yours to shape. You can ask for the highlights—the pre-Columbian stone structures at San Gervasio, the rugged cliffs and lighthouse at Punta Sur, the stalls and energy of the Municipal Market—or steer toward the quieter eastern shore and the small corners locals know. The guide speaks English and Spanish, tailors the route to what you want to see, and handles the driving so you're not navigating or parking.
The afternoon centers on Coco's Beach Club, where snorkeling happens directly from the sand. You wade in a few steps and find yourself among coral formations and tropical fish—no boat ride, no long swim out. The gear is provided. After you come back to shore, a freshwater pool and shaded loungers wait, and you can order Mexican lunch and drinks at your own pace. Between the water and the beach, there's time to reset before the drive back.
The tour also includes a tequila seminar where you taste eight varieties and learn how each one is made, plus a chocolate and tortilla tasting that walks you through the traditional preparation. Bottled water and sodas travel with you in the vehicle. Entrance fees to attractions like San Gervasio or Punta Sur are not included in the tour price, so you decide which stops are worth the cost. Collapsible wheelchairs and walkers fit in the vehicle; mobility scooters do not.

Is this one for you?Choose the smaller group size if you want the guide's full attention and the flexibility to linger at one stop without waiting for others; the larger option works better if you're traveling with family or friends and want to split the cost. The fixed 4–5 hour window means you can plan the rest of your day around the return time, and the bilingual guide removes the need to navigate or find a translator.

What's the difference between the three group sizes you can book?
The private tour comes in three options: up to 4 passengers, up to 7 passengers, or up to 12 passengers. You pick the group size at checkout, and the same guide and vehicle adapt to your party.
Can I snorkel if I've never done it before?
Coco's Beach Club snorkeling starts from the shore in shallow water with colorful fish close by, so beginners can wade in and explore at their own pace. Snorkel gear is included, and you're steps from the beach the whole time.
What happens if I want to skip one of the stops and spend more time somewhere else?
The itinerary is built around your interests—you tell the guide what you want to see, and they adjust the route. You can skip the Municipal Market to spend longer at Punta Sur, or reverse the order, or ask to find a beach the guide knows that isn't on the usual list.
Does the tour price include lunch and drinks at Coco's Beach Club?
Snorkel gear and access to Coco's Beach Club are included, but food and beverages are at your own cost. You can order Mexican specialties, fresh seafood and drinks from the beach club menu whenever you're hungry.
What if I'm arriving on a cruise ship—can you pick me up from the port?
Yes, pickup from the cruise port is included. The guide meets you at the terminal, and the return time is arranged so you're back before the ship departs.
Are entrance fees to places like San Gervasio or Punta Sur included?
Entrance fees to attractions are not included in the tour price, so you decide which sites are worth visiting. The guide can tell you the cost and what each one offers before you decide.
