The Experience
You arrive at San Francisco Beach Club and get fitted with a life jacket, then receive instruction on the jet ski's controls, the boundaries of the riding zone, and the safety rules you'll follow. The jet ski holds two people comfortably and sits stable in the water. You have 30 minutes to ride; a staff member on a patrol jet ski stays nearby in case you need help, watching from the water the whole time. The riding area runs 4,000 meters along the coast, giving you room to open up the throttle without leaving the supervised zone.
If you bring a companion, they can ride with you during your 30 minutes, or they can wait in the beach club—which has a pool, wi-fi, showers and restrooms. Up to two driver changes are allowed, so if you're riding with someone, you can each take a turn at the controls. When your time on the water is done, you can use the pool and facilities before heading out. The beach club sits just a two-minute walk from other restaurants and bars on the strip.
