Turquoise water, seat-side cocktails, and fresh seafood without leaving the beach.

A five-hour beach club day pass at Pez Quadro on the Mahahual beachfront, steps from the cruise port. You get a sunbed on soft sand, all-you-can drinks with alcohol, two meals from the kitchen, and Wi-Fi. The protected reef keeps the water calm and shallow. Children from age 4 are welcome, and the club is wheelchair accessible.

The experience

You arrive at Pez Quadro just 10 minutes from the cruise port: close enough that you can spend five hours on the water without burning daylight on transport. The beach club sits right on the malecón with a view of the barrier reef that keeps the Caribbean water turquoise and still. Sunbeds line the sand, and the team brings food and drinks straight to your chair: no walking back to a bar, no hunting for a table. The kitchen runs through the day with fresh ceviche, fajitas, quesadillas, burgers and local seafood. The bar keeps the cocktails flowing for adults and soft drinks for kids.

What you bring is a swimsuit, biodegradable sunscreen, and cash or a card for tips and shopping: snorkel gear too if you want to explore the reef. The water is shallow and calm, so swimming is easy even for children. The club has Wi-Fi if you need it, and the restrooms stay clean all day. Spanish and English speakers are on hand. A five-hour window is enough to swim, eat twice, and still have time to sit without rushing back to the ship.

What’s included

  • All-you-can drinks with alcohol for adults.
  • two meals from the kitchen menu (one adult lunch, one kids' meal).
  • soft drinks for non-drinkers.
  • sunbed loungers on the sand.
  • Wi-Fi access.
  • attentive seat-side service.
  • and access to clean restrooms throughout the day.
