The experience

The order of activities shifts depending on where the animals are that day. You head first to Tamarin Bay, where the skippers enter the water with you for the dolphin encounter. Whale watching follows on the open seas. Humpback whales appear off the Mauritian coast between July and September or October as they migrate toward the equator. Sperm whales are visible year-round. The skippers maintain a safe distance and follow international best practices throughout, prioritizing the animals' natural behavior over proximity.
