You meet your guide at Hondoq Bay in Gozo—a Blue Flag beach where you'll get a quick safety briefing and set up with your kayak before paddling into the Mediterranean. The route is chosen each day based on weather and sea conditions, so the itinerary adapts to what the water allows. You might head clockwise toward the Blue Lagoon's turquoise waters, or take the reverse route past Qala Rock and its views of a 700-year-old hermit hut and Roman-era salt pans. Either way, you're paddling along Comino's most dramatic coastline.

The 2.5 hours of paddling takes you past sea caves, natural arches, tunnels and rock formations shaped over thousands of years. When conditions allow, you'll pass the famous Blue Lagoon. Hidden around the corner from San Niklaw Bay is Urchin's Bay—a gorge only easily accessible by water and full of marine life. On the eastern side, you'll find some of Comino's most spectacular scenery. The guide leads a limited number of kayaks for safety and quality, so the group stays small and manageable.

Around the midpoint, you take a 30-minute break at a bay like Santa Marija, Urchin's Bay or Daħlet il-Ħmara, where you can swim, snorkel, explore the shoreline or simply rest.
