The experience
The day starts with a 40-kilometer drive from your hotel to Ala Archa National Park, where you spend roughly two hours on the ground. Your guide offers two routes: a paved walk along the river to a viewpoint where you can feed squirrels and birds, or a trail to the Broken Heart Stone for views across the whole park. Both paths stay gentle and let you move at your own pace while the guide points out the landscape: juniper slopes, snowy peaks, the river cutting through.
After Ala Archa, you head to Chunkurchak Gorge. The Sky Bridge crossing and a cable car ride frame the Pigeon Waterfall, then you continue to Supara Chunkurchak Resort for lunch. The restaurant is on-site and you order what you want. The guide can recommend dishes. This is where the optional activities open up: horseback riding by the hour, archery, or ziplining, each priced separately. If you skip them, you have time to rest or walk around the resort grounds before the return drive to Bishkek.
The guide and driver handle all logistics. They pick you up early, drive the full route, and drop you back at your hotel or anywhere in the city you prefer. Entry to Ala Archa is included, as is bottled water for the day. The pace is built for mixed fitness levels and families with small children. Strollers work on the paved sections at Ala Archa, and infants can sit on a lap in the vehicle.
