The experience
Your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Bishkek and drive 30 km to Chunkurchak Gorge, a route that winds through Kyrgyz mountains and canyons. The drive itself is the first part of the day. You'll see rushing streams and, in spring, fields of red tulips spreading across the landscape. The gorge sits in fresh mountain air and opens onto views most visitors to Bishkek never reach.
The first stop is Pigeon Waterfall, a 30-meter drop that falls almost without splash, creating a calm pool below. Right beside it stands the Sky Bridge, Kyrgyzstan's only one, spanning the gorge and offering a vantage point over the whole valley. You'll have time to cross it, photograph the waterfall and the surrounding rock, and feel the scale of the place before moving on to Supara Chunkurchak, a mountain retreat where the real choice begins. Here you have 4 hours to spend however you want: zipline across the gorge, ride horses on the trails, shoot arrows at an archery target, take a cable car up to a higher viewpoint, or walk the gentle paths nearby. Each activity costs extra and you book them at checkout or arrange them on arrival. If you bring your own food, you can picnic in the open air. The Supara restaurant is also there if you prefer to eat there.
Before 5 or 6 PM, your guide and driver take you back to Bishkek and drop you at your hotel or anywhere else in the city that works for you. The whole day runs about 7 to 8 hours from pickup to return.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Sky Bridge and how long does it take to cross?
The Sky Bridge is Kyrgyzstan's first and only bridge of its kind, spanning the Chunkurchak Gorge right next to the Pigeon Waterfall. The crossing itself is brief: long enough to walk across, take photos, and absorb the view over the gorge, but it is not a major time commitment. You move through it as part of the stop before heading to Supara Chunkurchak.
Can I do ziplining and other activities on the same day?
Yes. You have 4 hours of free time at Supara Chunkurchak, and you can mix activities: zipline in the morning of that window, then try archery or horseback riding afterward, or skip activities altogether and walk the trails. Each one costs extra and you choose which ones suit your energy and interests.
Is lunch included in the tour price?
Lunch is not included. You can eat at the Supara restaurant on-site, bring your own food for a picnic, or skip it if you prefer. The tour includes bottled water and photo stops, but meals are your choice.
How far is Chunkurchak Gorge from Bishkek?
Chunkurchak Gorge is 30 km from Bishkek. The drive takes you through Kyrgyz mountains and canyons, and your guide will point out the landscape along the way: rushing streams, winding rock formations, and in spring, fields of red tulips.
What activities cost extra beyond the tour price?
Ziplining costs 3 to 5 USD, the cable car to the mountain viewpoint costs 3 to 5 USD, horseback riding is 12 USD per hour, archery is 6 USD per person, and entry to the Sky Bridge is 6 USD. You decide which ones to do when you book or when you arrive at Supara Chunkurchak.
