Snorkeling in Aqaba is a 4-hour boat activity where you enter the water to see marine life, shipwrecks, a plane wreck and a tank wreck; lunch, snorkeling equipment, drinks and a guide in English are included, with hotel pickup arranged. Children from age 1 are welcome, and the boat is wheelchair accessible.
The Experience
The boat leaves with snorkeling equipment already on board—mask, fins and wetsuit provided. You'll spend the time in the water around Aqaba's wrecks: a shipwreck, a plane and a tank sit on the seabed, and the guide points out the marine life moving through them. Photography happens in the water, so you can take pictures with the wrecks themselves. The activity runs 4 to 5 hours total, which includes the boat ride out, the snorkeling time and the return.
Lunch is grilled on the boat—fresh BBQ, appetizers, salads, vegetables and pasta come out while you're drying off. Hot and cold soft drinks run throughout the day. Towels are provided, and the guide stays with the group in English. Hotel pickup is included, so you don't arrange transport to the dock.
