- Enjoy panoramic view from Shibuya Sky rooftop
The experience
The tour starts at Hachiko Statue, the famous meeting point in the heart of Shibuya, where your local guide gives you the history of the spot. From there you move into the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, the intersection that defines the neighborhood, and take photos from the vantage points locals know. You walk the main shopping street and the back alleys of Center Gai and Udagawacho, passing music shops and storefronts that capture Tokyo's youth culture. The guide points out the cyberpunk atmosphere and hidden photo spots that make Shibuya distinct from the rest of the city.
The second half of the tour takes you up to Shibuya Sky, the observation deck 229 meters above the streets. Entry and tickets are included in the tour price, so there's nothing to pay at the door. From the rooftop you get a 360-degree view of Tokyo's illuminated skyline: the neon signs, the buildings lit from within, the city spreading out in all directions. Once the 2-hour guided portion ends, you don't have to leave. You can stay at Shibuya Sky as long as you want, capturing more photos, watching the city shift through the night, or simply sitting with the view.
