You'll have 80 minutes here to walk to the observation deck or take an elevator down to the base of the falls for a closer look. This is when most travelers stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant serving local specialties like yuba (tofu skin) and freshwater fish dishes. The final stop is Lake Chuzenji, a serene mountain lake formed by volcanic activity, where you can stroll the lakeside with Mount Nantai rising in the background before the return bus ride to Ginza. Note: during January and February, weather closures may replace the Kegon Falls and lake visit with a panoramic view of Rinnoji Temple and Futarasan Shrine instead.
