The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel lobby in an air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide shares insights about the island, its people and culture during the drive to Dunn's River Falls. Once you arrive, your guide handles your entrance tickets and walks you to the park entrance, then waits outside while you explore. You can climb the falls with a guide or on your own. Kids can play in the water fun area and beach. A zip line is available for an extra fee.

After Dunn's River, you stop at a local restaurant to eat jerk chicken, curry chicken, fried fish, beef patties or other Jamaican dishes. Then you head to Blue Hole and Secret Falls. Your guide assists with entrance tickets and life vests at the start. You begin at Blue Hole (a turquoise pool where you jump and swim), then walk up the waterfall banks to reach Secret Falls, a natural private waterfall at the top. You can swim in the water, jump off the falls or swing on the rope swing. A local guide is available to show you exactly where to walk and jump, and will hold your camera and take pictures. On the return journey, you can choose to stop for lunch if you didn't eat earlier.

This is a private tour, so only your group participates. A minimum of two people per booking is required. The total time is 6 to 8 hours depending on how long you spend at each site. Bring cash, a swimsuit, sunscreen, towels and a change of clothes. Travel distance varies by pickup location. From Negril it is about 3 hours each way.
