The experience

You're picked up at the cruise port and driven east for about an hour and a half along the north coast, with your guide sharing stories about Jamaica's history as you travel. The route takes you through Discovery Bay, where there's a brief rest stop at Coconut Tree Rest Stop before you reach Blue Hole and Secret Falls. Your total time at both sites is roughly an hour and forty-five minutes: you'll spend about thirty minutes at Blue Hole itself, swimming and diving in the clear water, then your guide leads you on a five-minute hike through the woods to Secret Falls, where you can spend an hour and fifteen minutes exploring. Life jackets are available if you want one.

Beyond diving and swimming, the sites offer Tarzan ropes and hiking trails. The guide stays with you throughout, pointing out the landscape and answering questions. After you've finished at the falls, the tour moves to Ocho Rios for shopping and lunch at Scotchies Outdoor Garden Restaurant, where you can try authentic Jamaican jerk food. Once lunch and shopping are done, you're driven back to the port in time for your ship's departure.
