The experience
Your dive starts with a full briefing on safety and the day's site features. The dive center operates from protected local sites along the Taormina coast (sheltered from swell and current), so your first dives are relaxed and easy. If you're a certified diver, you can dive by shore or join the daily boat trips to any of the 30+ sites the instructors know. The crew handles all logistics: you show up, get briefed, and dive. Soft drinks and snacks are included. All SCUBA equipment is provided.
Groups stay small, maximum three buddy teams per guide, so the instructor knows where you are and what you need. If your certification limits you to 12 meters depth, the dive center recommends a private guide for the day. Guides speak English, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian and other languages. Half or full day packages let you choose how much time you spend underwater. Children from age 8 are welcome, and non-divers can come onboard.
Is this one for you?Choose a half day if you want to try one or two dives and still have time to explore Taormina itself. Pick the full day to dive multiple sites and go deeper into the reserve. If your certification limits you to 12 meters, a private guide keeps the pace and depth matched to your training.
