The Experience

I’ll admit, I mostly booked this Rome private Golf Cart tour because my feet were already plotting revenge after two days of cobblestones. Didn’t expect to feel so… involved in the city though. I picked the Colosseum entry option (the Catacombs sounded tempting but maybe next time). The whole thing felt easygoing; if we wanted to linger somewhere or skip a stop, no problem. By the end, I’d lost track of how many piazzas we’d seen or how many times Marco waved at people he knew. That’s what stuck with me — feeling like I was tagging along with someone who actually lives here, not just ticking off sights from some list.
