The experience

The Castello Aragonese rises from the water as a medieval fortress on a volcanic islet, connected by a stone bridge: the first landmark most people recognize on Ischia. From there, the boat moves to Spiaggia dei Maronti, the island's largest beach, where the water is clear enough to see the seafloor and the cliffs behind it frame the whole scene.
