Step-by-step itinerary
Explore Ischia and Procida Islands
- Visit Castello Aragonese fortress

- Enjoy seaside lunch on Ischia
- Explore Ischia’s coastal villages
- Swim near Procida’s rock formations
- Stroll Marina di Corricella on Procida
- Visit Cala del Pozzo Vecchio
The Experience
The Castello Aragonese rises from the water as a medieval fortress on a volcanic islet, connected by a stone bridge—the first landmark most people recognize on Ischia. From there, the boat moves to Spiaggia dei Maronti, the island's largest beach, where the water is clear enough to see the seafloor and the cliffs behind it frame the whole scene. You'll have time to swim here or stay aboard, then the route crosses to Procida, the smallest island in the gulf, where the houses are painted in bright colors and the coastline is carved into hidden coves. The rock formations around Procida emerge straight from the water, shaped by centuries of waves, and they're the reason swimmers come back to this stretch.
Disembarking is optional at each stop. Some travelers walk through Marina di Corricella, the serene harbor village on Procida, or visit Cala del Pozzo Vecchio to sit on the rocks. Others choose to eat at one of Ischia's seaside restaurants, where the kitchen sends out fresh seafood and the table looks out at the Mediterranean. The boat waits, and the guide—who speaks English and Italian—can recommend where to go or what to order. Snorkeling equipment is on board if you want to use it; towels are provided.
The tour runs six to eight hours depending on how long you spend in the water and the villages. Soft drinks, soft snacks, and alcoholic beverages are included. Pickup is arranged so you don't need a car or a ferry schedule; the crew handles the boat, and you decide how much time to spend swimming, exploring or resting on deck.

What is the Castello Aragonese and why is it on this tour?
The Castello Aragonese is a medieval fortress built on a volcanic islet off Ischia, connected to the island by a stone bridge. It's the most recognizable landmark in the gulf and the tour passes close enough to see its striking presence and the panoramic views it commands over the water.
Can I swim at multiple stops, or is there just one swimming spot?
The tour includes swimming stops at hidden coves on both islands. Spiaggia dei Maronti on Ischia and the coves around Procida both offer crystal-clear water for swimming; you choose how long to stay in the water at each one.
Do I have to get off the boat to explore the villages?
Disembarking is optional. You can walk through Marina di Corricella on Procida or explore Ischia's towns if you want, or you can stay aboard and relax on the boat while others explore.
Is snorkeling equipment included, and do I need to know how to snorkel?
Snorkeling equipment is on board and included in the tour. Using it is optional—you can snorkel in the coves or simply swim; the choice is yours.
What food and drinks are provided during the tour?
Soft drinks, soft snacks, and alcoholic beverages are included on the boat. If you want a full meal, you can eat at one of Ischia's seaside restaurants during a stop; the crew can recommend places and the boat will wait for you.
How do I get to the boat if I don't have a car?
Pickup is arranged as part of the tour, so you don't need to arrange your own transport to the departure point. The details are confirmed when you book.
