The Experience

The sea was calm that morning—just a hint of salt in the breeze as we left the dock. Our skipper waved us aboard with a grin and handed out chilled bottles of water. If you’re not up for swimming at Li Galli, no worries—you can head straight to Positano instead. We did both. Later, we stopped at Conca dei Marini for lunch right on the sand at La Tonnarella. The scent of grilled seafood drifted over from the kitchen while we sipped prosecco and watched kids chase each other along the shore. In Amalfi, our guide led us through narrow alleys to Sant’Andrea Cathedral—its striped façade looks almost unreal up close. On the way back, limoncello shots appeared as if by magic, just as the sun started dipping behind the hills.
