The experience

You start in the vineyard itself, not in a tasting room. The walking tour moves through the Brunello Cru path. The trained team explains the philosophy and the terroir as you go, and the view of Montalcino opens up as you walk. It's the kind of thing that makes sense only if you're standing in it: why this slope, why these grapes, why the wine tastes different from the next valley over. You ask the questions you've always wanted to know about wine, and the answers come with the actual ground under your feet.

After the vineyard walk, you move through the grape processing area and into the cross-vaulted cellar: the part where you see how wine ages differently depending on whether it sits in wooden barrels or amphora.
