Vineyard passes, hilltop views, and a tasting at the source

A half-day e-bike tour through Prosecco Hills in Veneto where you ride through steep UNESCO-protected vineyards, pass WWI trench sites, and finish with Prosecco and local food tasting at a winery. The e-bike motor handles the climbs so you can focus on the landscape and the guide's commentary in English or Spanish. Children from age 2 are welcome, and pickup is included.

Step-by-step itinerary

E-bike tour and Prosecco tasting

  • Pick up e-bike and gear
  • Meet the guide
  • Ride through vineyards
  • See Cartizze hillside vineyards
  • Visit Prosecco Hills viewpoints
  • Explore WWI trenches
  • Wine and local product tasting

The Experience

The e-bike does the work on the hills. You get the bike, helmet, backpack and smartphone support at the rental point, then meet your guide who leads you through the Prosecco region on a route that passes through the steep vineyards of Cartizze and across the panoramic ridges that UNESCO protects. The motor means you can ride terrain that would be unreachable by car or too far on foot, and you stay in the landscape instead of behind a windscreen.

The route crosses into the WWI trench sites that cut through these hills, then descends to a working vineyard where you stop to learn how Prosecco grows on these slopes. The tasting includes the wine and local food. The whole outing runs between three and six hours depending on pace and conditions.

Pickup is included, and the guide speaks English or Spanish. A first aid kit travels with the group. Children from age 2 can ride in a specialized infant seat if you arrange it when you book.

What is the Cartizze zone and why does the route pass through it?
