The experience
The Motor Yacht Klase 50 HT is yours alone for the day: no shared departures, no fixed schedule, no crowds. You pick your departure port (Sorrento, Positano, Naples or Amalfi), choose your start time, and the skipper meets you there. From that point, the route bends to what you want: the Blue Grotto's electric blue water is on the menu if you wish it; the Green Grotto and its swimming cove are a stop the skipper knows well; the Faraglioni sea stacks (three massive rocks rising from the sea) are where you cruise straight through the hole in the middle. Marina Piccola on the southern shore, the pink and white lighthouse at the southwestern tip, a modernist villa clinging to the rocks: these are all there, but none of them are locked into a time.
Swimming and snorkeling happen at spots the skipper chooses for calm water and clarity. Snorkeling gear is on board. Towels, snacks, fresh fruit and drinks (sodas, water, wine, prosecco and beer) appear as you need them. If the island itself calls, you can land and walk the Piazzetta, browse the high-end shops, or sit down for lunch at one of the restaurants accessible only by sea. The skipper will suggest the best ones and time the return to the boat. The day stretches across 7 to 8 hours, but there's no clock ticking.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included if you're staying in Sorrento. From Positano, Amalfi or Naples, the skipper waits for you at the port. The boat holds a maximum of 12 passengers, so even a larger group travels as one party, not split across multiple departures. On the return, Prosecco flows as you head back to your departure point.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is the Blue Grotto like when you visit it by boat?
The Blue Grotto is famous for the electric blue color of the water inside, created by light filtering through an underwater opening. Your skipper can take you there if you want to see it, though the stop is optional and depends on sea conditions and your preferences for the day.
Can you actually swim and snorkel, or is it just viewing from the boat?
You stop several times for swimming and snorkeling in the clearest water around the island. Snorkeling equipment is provided on board, and the skipper chooses the spots based on calm conditions and visibility that day.
What happens if you want to spend time on the island itself?
You can land on Capri and explore on foot. The Piazzetta is the main square for shopping and gelato, and plenty of restaurants line the coast. The skipper will suggest the best ones and time your return to the boat so the day flows without rushing.
Do you need to book the itinerary in advance, or can you decide it on the day?
The itinerary is flexible. You choose your departure port and time when you book, but once on board, you and the skipper shape the day together, which grottoes to visit, where to swim, whether to land on the island, where to eat. The suggested stops (Blue Grotto, Faraglioni, Green Grotto, Marina Piccola) are all available, but none are mandatory.
What's included in the boat, and what costs extra?
Snorkeling gear, towels, snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks (water, sodas, wine, prosecco and beer) are all included, as is the skipper's expertise and fuel. A disembarkation fee applies if you land on Capri itself (€150). If your departure port is Naples or Positano, a port fee may apply depending on which one you choose.
