The experience

You board a private boat with no more than 10 passengers and sail around Capri with your captain, who points out the island's geology and history as you pass its most photographed sites. The three grottos: the Blue Grotto with its luminous water, the White Grotto (also called the Champagne Grotto) and the Green Grotto, are stops where you can enter, photograph or simply drift past depending on conditions and your preference. The boat carries snorkeling equipment and beach towels, so you can jump in the water whenever the captain finds a good spot.

Midway through the day you pull into a waterfront restaurant for lunch. The captain knows the best local spots reachable only by sea. The rest of the afternoon is yours to shape: you can ask to be dropped at Marina Grande to wander Capri's town center and its famous Piazzetta, or stay aboard and swim again. The boat has a galley, cabin and WC, and the open bar runs all day: water, beer, cola, juice, wine, Prosecco and limoncello are included.

The tour runs eight hours with a flexible start time you choose at checkout. The Blue Grotto entry ticket (€18 per person) is optional. If you skip it, the boat still passes the entrance so you see the cave from the water. A port tax of €100 per boat applies if you want to dock at Marina Grande for town time, and you can add it when you book.
