The experience

You pick the departure point (Naples or Sorrento), and the skipper meets you there. From Sorrento, the boat leaves the cruise port. From Naples, the skipper waits at the terminal. The route itself is yours to shape: the itinerary suggests stops at the Baths of Queen Giovanna (ancient Roman ruins that sit right at the waterline), the Li Galli islets (three tiny islands where legend says the Sirens lured sailors), Positano's chic waterfront, and the town of Amalfi itself, but you can swap, linger or skip based on what the group wants to do that day.

Most of the day happens on the water. You cruise past the Sorrento coast, Punta Campanella and its Marine Reserve, fishing villages tucked into small bays, and the Bay of Ieranto before reaching the Li Galli islets. At each stop, the boat anchors and you swim or snorkel in water clear enough to see the seafloor.
