The experience

The day starts at your hotel in Galway. Your guide picks you up in an air-conditioned vehicle and drives you through the Maum Valley into Connemara, a region that looks untouched: rolling mountains, lakes, rugged valleys, sheep grazing across typical Irish landscapes.
