The experience

The tour runs three hours and covers two or three stops depending on which you pick. Your photographer meets you in Ubud central area (or at a supermarket in outlying zones if that's easier) and brings you by private transport to the first location. The Aloha Ubud Swing sits against jungle backdrops with plant- and flower-decked swings. Kemulilir and Tegallalang Rice Terrace both offer the terraced rice field views that fill Instagram feeds in Bali. At each stop, the photographer explains what you're standing in front of and helps you position yourself for the shot.

Between the swing and the rice terraces, you'll stop at a coffee plantation where you get free tastings of several local coffee and tea variants and see how they're made traditionally. The photographer handles the technical side (framing, angles, timing), so you're free to move through the locations and try different poses without worrying about the camera settings. By the end of the day, you'll have a minimum of 75 soft-edited photos sent to you via Google Drive, ready to post or keep.

Entry fees to the swing and rice terrace are not included in the tour price and run IDR 350k–400k for the swing (with a provided outfit) and IDR 25k–50k for the rice terrace, depending on the site. If you pick the waterfall option instead of one of the other stops, that's an additional IDR 30k. The photographer speaks English and Japanese.

What exactly do I do during the three hours?

How do I get picked up if I'm staying outside central Ubud?

If you're in Ubud's central area, the photographer picks you up from your location. If you're further out, you'll meet at Pepito Andong supermarket in Ubud instead.
