The experience

You arrive at Tanjung Benoa beach, get fitted with a life jacket, fins, mask and snorkel, then board a boat that takes you to the reef. The instructor stays with you in the water the whole time, pointing out what's below and making sure you're comfortable. All the gear is included in the price, along with access to locker and shower facilities when you're done.

Snorkeling here runs one hour total. The operator offers a range of water activities (jet ski, parasailing, banana boat, diving, sea walking and others), so if you want to add a second activity on the same day, you can book it as a separate option at checkout. A souvenir photo or video of your time in the water is available to purchase after you finish.

Safety equipment and medical insurance are included. Bring sunscreen, a camera and a change of clothes. The minimum age is 9 and the maximum is 60. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health.
