The experience

The package centers on snorkeling. You'll spend the longest stretch in the water with a mask, fins and snorkel, observing sea life while breathing at the surface. A boat takes you to the swimming spot and back, so you're not navigating on your own. The equipment handles the work. You float and watch for roughly an hour without the strain of diving gear or breath-holding.

Between snorkeling sessions, you'll try fly board and parasailing. Fly board lasts 20 minutes: you stand on a footboard connected to a jet ski by a hose, water pressure lifting you into the air while you balance and move. Parasailing follows: a parachute towed by a speedboat for one lap, about 6 minutes aloft with a second passenger. Both are brief, high-energy breaks from the water. All three activities happen in the Tanjung Benoa area, and the operator provides lockers, showers and restrooms between activities.

The session runs roughly 2 hours total. An instructor in English, Arabic, Malay or Japanese is with you throughout, and hotel pickup and return are included if you're staying in Nusa Dua or Tanjung Benoa. You'll need at least one other person in your group for hotel pickup to operate. The minimum age is 14. Bring a towel and sunscreen. The operator provides water or coffee.
