Snorkel three separate spots around Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno on a guided half-day trip with a live English-speaking guide, glass-bottomed boat transport, full snorkeling gear and a shared GoPro camera. The Experience
Three and a half to five and a half hours on the water, depending on which option you book — the regular run or the extended version that adds time at each stop. You meet the crew 100 meters from the harbor on Gili Trawangan, get fitted for fins and snorkeling gear with help from instructors, then board the glass-bottomed boat and head out to the first site. The boat itself is the first surprise: you can watch the reef pass underneath before you ever put on a mask.
Three snorkeling spots make up the core of the day. At each one, you drop in to swim with sea turtles, descend to admire the underwater statues, and move through schools of fish and coral formations. The crew manages the timing and the route; you focus on what's in front of your mask. A shared GoPro camera records the trip, so you get footage of the moments you were too busy experiencing to photograph.
After the third spot, the boat takes you to Gili Meno, where you have free time to explore. A 250-meter walk brings you to the turtle sanctuary if you want it, or you can stay on the beach, swim, or find a warung for lunch. Then it's back to Gili Trawangan to return your equipment and wrap up. Bottled water is provided throughout; everything else — meals, extra time on the island — you arrange as you go.
