Gili Islands Snorkeling: Catamaran Cruise with Sunset Dinner
You get four experiences stacked into one afternoon: snorkeling, paddleboarding, dinner and a floating party at sunset.
Snorkel the Gili Islands on a catamaran cruise that combines reef time with onboard activities and a sunset dinner buffet. The boat visits all three islands—Gili Trawangan, Air and Meno—with a trained English-speaking guide, premium snorkel gear, towels and complimentary snacks included. Limited to 20 people, the five-hour experience runs in the afternoon and ends as the sun drops over the ocean.
The Experience
The afternoon starts with snorkeling at the best sites around the three islands. A trained guide points out the marine life as you move between stops, and the boat crew keeps snacks and water flowing on deck between each one. You wear premium snorkel gear—included—and the crew hands out towels and fresh water as you climb back aboard. The pace is built around the snorkeling itself, not a rushed itinerary; there is time to actually see what is down there instead of just passing through.
Once the snorkeling wraps, the catamaran becomes a floating beach club. Paddleboards are out, floating beanbags are waiting, and you can dive from the roof or just sit with a drink and watch the water. The crew keeps the energy going without forcing it—some people dance, some people float, some people rest. As the light starts to turn, everyone gathers for an international buffet dinner served on deck. The Gili Islands sunset happens around you, and the boat positions itself so you are eating and drinking in the middle of it, not watching from the shore.
The group stays under 20 people, which means the boat does not feel crowded and the guide can actually see who needs help. Two shuttle options are available to get you to the boat. Bring a swimsuit; everything else—snorkel gear, towels, snacks, dinner, even GoPro photos and videos of the day—is on the boat.

What do you actually snorkel on this Gili Islands trip?
The catamaran visits the top snorkeling sites around all three Gili Islands—Gili Trawangan, Air and Meno. A trained guide leads you through the reefs and points out the marine life at each stop. The crew gives you time at each site instead of rushing between them, and you wear premium snorkel gear included with the booking.
Is there time to do things besides snorkeling?
Yes. After the snorkeling stops, the boat becomes a floating beach club for the rest of the afternoon. You can paddleboard, float on beanbags, dive from the roof, or just relax on deck with a drink. The dinner buffet happens as the sun sets, so the second half of the five hours is a mix of activity and downtime.
What food and drinks are included?
An international buffet dinner is served on deck as the sun sets, and complimentary snacks and drinking water are available throughout the afternoon. Additional beverages beyond water are not included, though you can order them on board.
How many people go on the boat?
The catamaran is limited to 20 participants, so it stays small enough that the guide can see everyone and the boat does not feel crowded.
What should I bring and what is provided?
Bring a swimsuit and sunscreen. The boat provides premium snorkel gear, large towels, snacks, dinner, life jackets, and GoPro photos and videos of your day. A trained safety guide is on board throughout.
What time does this snorkeling trip run?
The experience is five hours in the afternoon and ends with the sunset, so you are on the water as the light turns golden and the sky changes color over the ocean.
