The experience

The camel ride starts from your hotel with pickup included. You'll head to the Sawangan coast, where the beach stays quiet and the sand stays white. The ride itself lasts 30 minutes at a steady pace: slow enough to take in the open sea views without strain, and calm enough that couples often ride together on a single camel or small groups form their own caravan for photos that look like the Sahara.

Weight limits apply: each rider can weigh up to 50 kg, or a single rider up to 110 kg per camel. An English-speaking driver accompanies the group, and parking is covered. The activity runs daily except the 15th of each month. After the ride, a private return transfer takes you back to your hotel.
