The experience

Green Canyon is the centerpiece: you'll explore its waters and rock formations by boat and on foot, swimming and jumping where you're comfortable, rafting through sections you choose, and swinging from ropes anchored to the canyon walls. The level of adventure stays in your hands. You decide how deep into the water you go and which jumps you take.

The day balances intensity with stillness. After the canyon, Green Valley opens into a rainforest walk that moves through rice fields and down to a river where you swim again in calmer water. Local fish nibble your skin if you stand still long enough. Then comes a visit to working artisan spaces: a home coconut oil factory, a tahu (tofu) workshop, a rice farm, or a master puppet maker and gamelan player, depending on the season. You follow the whole process from raw material to finished product and can buy something to take home.

The Turtle Sanctuary closes the day: you'll see how rescued turtles are cared for, and if conditions allow, help release some back into the wild. Batu Hiu's shark-shaped rock sits nearby for photos inside its kitsch giant mouth if you want one. Private transport picks you up and brings you back, and lunch is included.
