The experience
You're picked up early: 7am at the Gate of Heaven means you're posing against the sky before the crowds arrive. The gate itself is a stone split framing the landscape, and the light hits it straight on in the first hours. From there the day moves through water: at 10am you're at Tirta Gangga Water Palace feeding koi fish and walking the stone steps for photographs, the palace built around pools and fountains. Lunch at 1pm sits you in Lereng Agung Restaurant with views across the rice terraces toward Mount Agung, and the buffet is included if you choose the option that covers entrance fees.
At 3pm you walk into Tukad Cepung Waterfall: a ten-minute hike through forest, then a short walk inside a cave where light breaks through a gap in the rock and hits the water below. The waterfall is hidden until you're nearly inside it. By 5pm you're at Tegalalang Rice Terraces learning how the irrigation system works, watching water move down the stepped fields. An optional swing (where you fly out over the jungle canopy) is available if you want it, though it costs extra and is not part of the standard tour.
Your guide speaks English and stays with you all day. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and you get a sarong for temple entry. The whole day runs ten hours from start to finish. Three purchase options let you choose: sunrise or sunset timing, and whether entrance fees are bundled in or you pay them separately at each site.
Is this one for you?Choose the sunrise option if you want the Gate of Heaven and first light before other visitors arrive. The sunset timing works if your first day in Bali is an afternoon arrival. Pick the package with entrance fees included to simplify the day, or choose the ticket-free option if you prefer to pay at each site and have more flexibility on which attractions you enter.

Top questions
What time do I need to be ready for pickup on a Bali Instagram tour?
Pickup is at 7am so you reach the Gate of Heaven before sunrise and have the best light for photographs. If you book the sunset option instead of sunrise, the schedule shifts later in the day.
Can I visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall if I'm not a strong hiker?
Tukad Cepung requires a ten-minute walk through forest and a short walk inside a cave, but the operator notes the tour suits all physical fitness levels. The path is not steep, though it does involve some uneven ground and a cave interior.
Is lunch included in every Bali Instagram tour option?
Buffet lunch at Lereng Agung Restaurant with rice terrace and Mount Agung views is included if you select the option with entrance fees. The tour without ticket fees does not include lunch.
What is Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and what do I do there?
Tirta Gangga is a water garden built around pools and fountains. You feed koi fish in the ponds and walk the stone steps for photographs. It's a palace designed around water, so there are multiple levels and vantage points for pictures.
Does the Gate of Heaven tour option include the swing?
The swing is optional and costs extra. It's not part of any of the three standard tour packages. You can add it at checkout if you want to fly out over the jungle canopy for more photographs.
How many people need to book this tour together?
A minimum of two people per booking is required. The tour is private (your guide and driver stay with your group all day), but you need at least two travelers to confirm the reservation.
