The experience

You ride your own ATV, not watch someone else ride. After a welcome drink and insurance paperwork at the starting point, you gear up with boots and helmet for a short safety briefing. Solo riders get their own quad. Tandem riders choose who operates the bike while the second person rides behind. Then you follow your guide on a 5-mile route through Bali's countryside, passing through rice paddies, jungle, rivers, and a natural tunnel carved into the landscape. The ride ends at a waterfall where you can swim and cool off in the pool.

After the water, you rinse off in the shower facilities, change into dry clothes, and eat a sandwich lunch before heading back. If you booked a private transfer, your driver picks you up from your hotel in Ubud, Kuta, Canggu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua or most other areas of south Bali at your chosen time and brings you back when the activity ends. If you arrange your own transport, you'll need to get yourself to and from the starting point. Public transportation options are available nearby. Insurance, all safety equipment, the guide, and lunch are included in every booking.

Can I ride an ATV if I've never done it before?

Yes. The activity welcomes both beginners and experienced riders. You'll receive a full safety briefing before the ride starts, and your guide leads the route so you follow their pace through the rice fields and jungle.

What's the difference between a solo ride and a tandem ride?

Solo riders operate their own ATV and must be at least 13 years old. Tandem riders share one ATV (one person drives while the second person sits behind), and children as young as 6 can join a parent or adult on a tandem bike. Tandem bookings must be made in multiples of two (2, 4, 6, 8 travelers).

What happens at the waterfall during the ride?

After the ATV route through the countryside, you stop at a waterfall where you can swim and splash in the pool to cool off. Shower facilities, lockers, towels and a changing room are available so you can rinse off and change into dry clothes before lunch.

Do I need to arrange my own transport to the starting point?

You can book a private transfer that picks you up from your hotel in Ubud, Kuta, Canggu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua or other south Bali areas at your chosen time. If you don't book the transfer option, you'll need to arrange your own transportation. Public transportation options operate nearby.
