The Experience

I’ll admit, I wasn’t totally awake when our driver picked us up in Delhi — it was something like 2:30 AM, and the city was still wrapped in that soft night hush. The air near the Yamuna River felt almost damp and sweet as we walked towards the Taj Mahal gates — not cold exactly, but enough to make you hug your arms.
