The experience
The day starts with a pickup from your Hyderabad hotel and a drive to the airport for a two-hour morning flight to Agra. A guide and driver meet you on arrival and take you straight to the Taj Mahal: the white marble monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Skip-the-line access means you walk past the queue at the gate and spend your time on the grounds themselves: the gardens, the intricate stone carvings, and the views that make it one of the world's most photographed buildings. The guide walks you through the Mughal history and the architecture while you take photos.
After the Taj Mahal, you eat a buffet lunch at a restaurant in Agra, then move on to Agra Fort: the 16th-century red sandstone fortress where Mughal emperors lived. Skip-the-line entry here too. The fort's courtyards, palaces and audience halls show the scale of Mughal power, and from the walls you can see the Taj Mahal across the river. The guide explains what each section was built for and why it matters to Indian history.
The return flight leaves in the late afternoon, and the driver takes you back to Hyderabad airport for the two-hour flight home. You arrive back at your hotel in the evening. The whole day runs 15 to 18 hours from pickup to drop-off. Bottled water is provided throughout, and the car is air-conditioned for the transfers between the airport and the sites.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, Hindi, Bangla and Gujarati.
Can I book this tour without buying the flights?
Yes. The tour comes in two versions: one with round-trip economy flights included, and one without flights. If you already have flights or prefer to book them separately, choose the tour-only option at checkout.
What is the Taj Mahal actually like when you get there?
The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum set in formal gardens with a reflecting pool. It was built over 22 years in the 17th century and is covered in intricate stone inlay work. The monument sits on a raised platform, and the interior chamber holds the cenotaphs of the emperor and his wife. Most visitors spend one to two hours walking the grounds, taking photos from different angles, and reading the inscriptions.
How much time do you spend at each site?
The Taj Mahal visit is the main event of the day and takes several hours with the guide. Agra Fort follows after lunch and takes roughly two hours. The rest of the day is flights, transfers, and the meal.
Is the tour accessible for people with mobility issues?
All areas and surfaces at both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are wheelchair accessible, and the private car is air-conditioned for comfortable transfers. Infants can ride in a pram or stroller. The tour is suitable for all fitness levels, though it is not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health due to the flight and full-day itinerary.
