Ever wondered what it’s like to see Kochi from the back of a tuk-tuk? It wasn’t part of any official itinerary but honestly that break is what I remember most.

By the time we reached Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and St. Francis Church, I was sweaty and happy and just letting everything wash over me—the colors, the noise, even the chaos felt good after awhile. We saw laundry flapping at Dhoby Khana too (those coir lines are clever), but I won’t pretend I understood how anyone keeps track of whose shirt is whose. Anyway, if you’re thinking about a day trip in Kochi by tuk-tuk… well, I still think about that view down toward the sea as dusk started to fall.
