Mattancherry Palace comes next, the Portuguese structure also called the Dutch Palace, with its Kerala murals of the Rajas of Kochi. Then Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth, built in 1568 and still in use by the Cochin Jewish community.
