The Experience
You start at Hawa Mahal, the honeycomb-patterned palace that defines Jaipur's skyline, then move through the old city's pink-painted streets to Jantar Mantar—a UNESCO site built as an astronomical observatory with instruments that still measure time and track celestial bodies. City Palace sits across from it, a working royal residence with courtyards and museums blending Rajput and Mughal styles. The morning anchors you in Jaipur's core heritage; the afternoon spreads outward. You walk through the vibrant local markets near Hawa Mahal, break for lunch at a restaurant of your choice, then head to Galta Ji, a Hindu pilgrimage temple surrounded by hills and sacred water tanks where monkeys roam freely. Albert Hall Museum, Rajasthan's oldest, holds paintings and sculptures that trace the region's art and history. By evening you reach Birla Temple—a white marble shrine with a serene courtyard—then Patrika Gate and Toran Dwar, both landmarks known for their Rajasthani color and carved detail.
Day two shifts to the forts and palaces outside the city center. Royal Gaitor opens the morning: a royal cremation site with marble cenotaphs and intricate carvings that speak to Jaipur's royal lineage. Jal Mahal, the Water Palace, floats in Man Sagar Lake and is one of the most photographed spots in the region. You then move to Amer, a historic town with heritage buildings and ancient temples, where Amer Fort itself rises on a hilltop with grand courtyards and views across the Aravalli Hills. Panna Meena Stepwell, a hidden gem, shows you how the region managed water centuries ago through symmetrical staircases carved into stone. Jaigarh Fort follows, famous for the Jaivana Cannon—the world's largest cannon on wheels—and for its panoramic views of the city below. The tour ends at Nahargarh Fort, where you watch the sunset over Jaipur from the hilltop.
A private vehicle and driver stay with you both days; the guide speaks English or Hindi. If you choose the all-inclusive option, a heritage or 3-star hotel near Jaipur is arranged with breakfast included. Monument entry tickets are added only if you select that option at checkout. Pickup and drop-off from anywhere in Jaipur—including the airport—are part of every option.
What’s included
- Private AC vehicle for both days.
- hotel pickup and drop-off including airport transfers.
- professional tour guide in English or Hindi (on applicable options).
- breakfast.
- monument entry tickets (on applicable options).

Operated by Rajasthan Cab
Is this one for you?Choose the all-inclusive option if you want the hotel, meals and guide arranged—everything is coordinated and you arrive ready to start. Pick transport, guide and tickets if you prefer to find your own hotel and handle some logistics yourself. The two-day span is what makes both the Pink City's heritage and the surrounding forts possible in a single trip; a one-day tour would cut one or the other.

What is Jantar Mantar and why is it on the first day?
Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II as an astronomical observatory. It holds the world's largest stone astronomical instrument and was designed to measure time, track celestial bodies, and study astronomy with precision. It sits in the heart of the Pink City, so it fits naturally into the morning route through Jaipur's heritage landmarks.
Can I see the forts and the Pink City in a single day instead of two?
The two-day structure allows you to cover both the old city's heritage sites—Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, temples and museums—and the five forts and palaces outside the city without rushing. Combining them into one day would cut the stops or compress the time at each site. The two-day version gives you the full route at a pace that lets you walk and absorb each place.
Is the guide included in every option, or only some?
The professional tour guide is included in three of the four options: All Inclusive Tour with Hotel, Private Vehicle with a Guide, and Transport, Guide & Tickets. The fourth option, Only Vehicle with Driver, provides the private vehicle and driver but no guide. You choose which option suits your needs at checkout.
What happens if I want to stay longer in Jaipur—can I extend the tour?
The tour is structured as a 2-day itinerary. If you book the all-inclusive option, one night of hotel accommodation is included. For stays beyond that or changes to the itinerary, you would need to contact the operator directly to discuss custom arrangements.
Does the tour include meals, or do I choose restaurants myself?
Breakfast is included if you select the all-inclusive option with hotel accommodation. For lunch on day one, you choose a multi-cuisine restaurant of your preference and pay separately. Other meals are not included unless you select the all-inclusive package.
What is the Jaivana Cannon at Jaigarh Fort?
The Jaivana Cannon is the world's largest cannon on wheels and sits at Jaigarh Fort. It is one of the fort's most famous features and represents the military strength and engineering of the Rajput rulers. You see it as part of the second day's fort tour.
