The experience

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel or any location you choose, 60 to 90 minutes before the session begins depending on where you're staying. You arrive at an air-conditioned studio auditorium where four dancers perform a one-hour live Bollywood dance show: the kind of choreography you see in the films themselves. After that, the hands-on part begins: you move through the Bollywood Mini Museum and try on costumes from actual movies, then step into the sound recording room to see how dubbing and voice-overs work. There's a karaoke system there if you want to record yourself singing a Bollywood song.

The studio operates as a working space, so you get to see behind-the-scenes activity and may interact with actors, directors, and crew members on set, though film stars and active shoots are not guaranteed due to security. The guides are themselves part of the Mumbai entertainment industry (actors, singers, dancers, choreographers), so they explain the work from the inside. Refreshments including sandwiches, coffee, and soft drinks are included throughout.

After the session ends at 3 pm or 5:45 pm depending on your time slot, the same representative who picked you up drops you back at your hotel, hostel, airport, or wherever you prefer. The whole experience runs 3 to 4 hours and operates seven days a week.
